Trusting women isn’t easy.
I was the soccer mom, the football team mom, even the chaperone for school dances and booster club meetings. I was all in. Gradually though, my life became about using to not get dope sick. I was a drug addict.
As a woman in recovery, what I really want is sleep, more hours in the day, and to be a more pleasant mom and spouse. Since those aren’t actual gifts, I’ve got some other solid ideas to help the SoberMommies in your life.
